iPad Courses for People with Disabilities
Breakaway is a non-profit, charitable organisation committed to enhancing the lives of all people with disabilities, at the same time allowing relief for the families and carers.
In April and May this year Breakaway will be running iPad training workshops for parents with children and adults with disabilities and their carers. These workshops are sponsored by the James N. Kirby Foundation and supported by Wyong Shire Council.
The iPad training workshop for parents of children with disabilities includes four sessions covering a basic introduction to iPads and app training for parents as well as app training for parents and their children. These sessions are run weekly on Tuesdays from 23 April.
The workshop for adults with disabilities also consists of four sessions, running weekly on Wednesdays from 24 April.
The cost for each course of four sessions is only $20. There are only ten places available at each workshop, so be quick to register.
