Discover the world leading research that takes place at the Hunter Medical Research Institute as they open their doors to the community for the very first time.

The HMRI Open Day on 26 September gives you the chance to tour the state-of-the-art laboratories and Clinical Trials Centre to see where the future of medical research lies; hear about the latest therapies and research discoveries across many areas including cancer, stroke, asthma, nutrition and personalised medicine; take part in interactive expo displays.

In the afternoon a Q & A session includes a panel of seven of the Hunter's leading researchers answering and debating a series of pre-selected questions and topics from the audience.

A Meet-the-Researchers Cocktail Party will allow community guests to meet with the researchers one-on-one in a special and intimate setting.

Entry to the Open Day and Q& A session is free. Registrations for each are strongly encouraged.

The Meet the Researchers Cocktail Party is an exclusive ticketed event. Entry is $25.
