Going Going Gone Exhibition
After many years, the last wool auction in Newcastle was held on 26 February 2013. The Australian Wool Network generously invited students enrolled in Photomedia at the University of Newcastle to document the event. This exhibition showcases the visual archive that resulted.
The students used photography, video and animation to portray their individual responses to the people, environment and atmosphere of the final auction in Newcastle.
Going Going Gone is proudly sponsored by the Australian Wool Network. The exhibition will be officially opened by AWN Chairman, Brendon Lunney on Thursday, 13 June.
