
Free Public Seminar on Developmental Parenting
Developmental Parenting refers to parent behaviours that support children's early development. It also refers to an intervention approach in which practitioners facilitate developmentally supportive parenting.
On Thursday, 14 March the University of Newcastle's Family Action Centre is hosting a free public seminar on Developmental Parenting. The training is based on the book Developmental Parenting: A Guide for Early Childhood Practitioners.
The seminar will be facilitated by Lori Roggman, Professor of Human Development at Utah State University, and Mark Innocenti, Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of the Research and Evaluation Division of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University.
This is a FREE public seminar. All professionals, practitioners and students who work with families and children are welcome.
