Faculty of Business and Law 2013 Research Showcase Poster Competition
This annual poster competition is a great opportunity for Business and Law RHD students and staff to showcase their particular areas of research. Come along to the University Gallery at 4pm on Monday 16 September for the opening, where you are invited to enjoy a drink and vote for your favourite poster design.
There are prizes for the Best RHD Candidate design, People's Choice and a Packer's Prize, which will all be announced at the opening.
Then watch out as the Word Hurl unfurls a spoken word performance that promises to punch into the audience like a speeding ball of words! This special performance is part of the Create 2308 Festival.
If too many words are never enough for you, return to the University Gallery from 12pm on Wednesday 18 September to be inspired, incensed, cajoled and taken for a Graphic Spin by Speaker's Corner, a special Create 2308 festival event in conjunction with the Poster exhibition.
Enjoy a beer and a meat pie and listen to speakers including Mrs Katherine Lindsay (The early 21st century university: a call for renewal or a bridge too far?), Dr Sara Martin (Reinventing Democracy [in Latin America]: New Ways of Producing and Researching Democracy), Prof Martin Watts (Not the federal budget again!
