A Taste of Honeysuckle at Winter Heat Finale
Art, music and fine food combine at Newcastle's Honeysuckle precinct on Saturday, 3 August when local food, wine and cider producers combine with local restaurants to present A Taste of Honeysuckle alongside the Winter Heat Finale.
Ten local Hunter wine and cider producers, curated by Will Creedon, take over the secret laneway next to Silo.
Honeysuckle restaurateurs have crafted special winter foods to tantalise the senses in pop-up laneway stalls.
The annual L!vesites Winter Heat festival lights up a sunset, with flaming sculptures, fiery street performances , live music and a dazzling lantern parade ready to set Honeysuckle aglow. The Maritime Centre lawn will be alight with candles, fire logs will line the Promenade and fire sculptures will keep away the winter chill.
A Taste of Honeysuckle and Winter Heat are Honeysuckle Alive placemaking initiatives.
