The University of Newcastle's Teachers' Visit Day is hosted by the School of Education and will be held on Friday 19 July at the University's Callaghan Campus.

Academic staff at the University have volunteered to lead sessions providing teachers from Hunter and Central Coast schools with fresh approaches to teaching and learning, including advances in technology.

The Teachers' Visit Day is for early childhood, primary, secondary and new scheme teachers as well as school executive and specialist staff.

The event is also endorsed by the NSW Institute of Teachers as Institute Registered professional development for the maintenance of accreditation at Professional Competence.
