Technology Infrastructure Manager

Technology Infrastructure Managers are responsible for managing activities and resources of teams in charge of providing, operating and maintaining information communication and technology infrastructure within an organisation. Such technologies include internet, intranet and LAN/WAN, and services such as helpdesks, security and data centres. Some of their duties include planning and creating strategies for the availability, capability, security and service continuity of these systems, testing and troubleshooting the networks and ensuring a global infrastructure standard for the organisation.

Technology Infrastructure Managers need to have completed a minimum of an undergraduate degree, and many years experience in the IT area, management and in financial management.
