Financial Planner

Financial planners advise their clients on how to best manage and invest their money. This may involve drawing up savings plans, structuring superannuation, advising on insurance and tax and assisting with estate planning. Financial planners usually work with specialist consultancies and agencies, accounting firms and banks. Individuals in this occupation are required to have completed accredited training at either a certificate, diploma or degree level. Qualifications in accounting and finance are very highly regarded in this industry and are an excellent starting point for undertaking specialist training.
