Biological Science is the study of organisms, their features and classification and how they interact with their environment. Biologists usually specialise in a particular area though may work as a generalist in such settings as research and development labs, where they conduct basic research or expand upon existing findings.

The range of career paths for a Biologist is diverse from Government agencies, research and educational facilities, environmental groups and in private companies. With further study and specialisation, Biologists may gain employment in positions as diverse as technical writers, scientific or medical illustrators, bioethicists or even in biolaw.
