The Bachelor of Science (Honours) can be completed over one year of full-time study or part-time equivalent at our Newcastle and Central Coast campuses.

At the Newcastle campus, you can specialise in biological sciences, chemistry, earth science, forensic science, geography and environmental studies, photonics, physics, and psychology.

The specialisations available at our Central Coast campus are marine science and sustainable resource management.

A Science (Honours) degree opens up a diverse range of employment opportunities in private industry and government organisations.

Depending on your specialisation, you could pursue a career in pathology, chemical analysis, product control development or research, telecommunications, fibre-optics, laser technology, medical physics, coal technology, organisational psychology, human resource management, and research and data evaluation.
