This Honours degree is mainly research-based. You will learn the formal research methodologies and techniques used in the discipline through coursework, and will apply these to original research work within the field of IT. In the end you will have completed a research based thesis that describes your original research contribution in an area of IT.

This one year full-time (or equivalent part-time) degree provides an extension to the Bachelor of Information Technology and is offered at the Newcastle and Central Coast campuses. Some coursework may require attendance at Newcastle campus.
