Why study communication (Honours) at UoN?

With increasing competition in all sectors of employment, students who graduate with an Honours degree have a distinct advantage. It is often considered by employers as an added skill and has been used by previous graduates to pursue higher positions and salaries.

As a graduate of the Bachelor of Communication, you may undertake a further year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) study designed to further develop and encourage you in your area of interest in communication. This degree prepares you for careers in communication as well as providing a pathway into research higher degree (RHD) study.

The Bachelor of Communication (Honours) aims to produce graduates who will have a well-developed capacity to think critically and creatively about society and culture and their relationship with research into professional communication practices; and a well-developed capacity to creatively and critically produce and research professional communication.

You will have the opportunity to learn in our purpose-built facilities including sound and recording studios of industry standard.
