Benefits of a combined degree

A combined degree means that you can achieve two qualifications in one go. You will have the advantage of graduating with two degrees, in less time than it would take to complete them separately.

For example, if you are interested in both arts and science, you can complete the requirements for both degrees by choosing the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science. After four years of full time study, you will graduate with two degree qualifications. Study them separately and it can take you up to six years full-time.

A combined degree will increase your career options, skills and knowledge, enhancing your academic and professional qualities, making you more desirable to employers. You will have more variety in your studies and satisfy more than one of your interests – you may be keen on drama and biology, this way you can study both.

There are some special requirements with combined degrees. Students must undertake a program of study that incorporates the requirements for each individual degree.
