A combined degree offers greater breadth of learning, enhancing the academic and professional qualities gained in each separate degree. At the same time, it recognises the increasing need for students to graduate with multidisciplinary skills.
In this degree, you can study in the area of arts as well as science and complete two qualifications over four years of full-time study.
The arts degree offers over 15 majors allowing you to select areas that interest you the most. This degree provides a foundation for a career in the field of science or in a broad range of fields available to arts graduates.
Diverse opportunities are available for graduates of this combined degree. You may seek employment in laboratories and research institutes in government and industry in fields related to:

A combined degree means that you can achieve two qualifications in one go. You will have the advantage of graduating with two degrees, in less time than it would take to complete them separately.
For example, if you are interested in both arts and science, you can complete the requirements for both degrees by choosing the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science. After four years of full time study, you will graduate with two degree qualifications. Study them separately and it can take you up to six years full-time.
A combined degree will increase your career options, skills and knowledge, enhancing your academic and professional qualities, making you more desirable to employers. You will have more variety in your studies and satisfy more than one of your interests – you may be keen on drama and biology, this way you can study both.
There are some special requirements with combined degrees. Students must undertake a program of study that incorporates the requirements for each individual degree.
