Sally HancockSally_Achiever

After working as a project manager in her youth, Sally decided that she wanted to steer her career towards the construction industry. The move shook up her life - she moved back in with her Mum and Dad and at the age of 25 she returned to Uni to gain the qualifications that she needed.

Sally received a scholarship from the National Association of Women in Construction which helped fund her study abroad in the USA - "I spent a semester studying in New York which gave me some great experiences as well as opening my eyes to how the rest of the world builds."

Sally worked in industry while she was studying and started work as a building cadet on a remote island off the coast of the Northern Territory, managing $10 million projects.

Sally graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2010 and is currently working in China project managing the construction of a concentrator in Mongolia. This is a two year project and is the biggest building in the country.
