All staff at UON should be given the opportunity to step up and develop the skills, knowledge and experience to take their career forward. As part of the Strategic Plan we want to build and develop our skills and capabilities to achieve our vision and meet the challenges of the 21st century.

As a manager or supervisor you have an important role in:

  • setting performance expectations
  • providing feedback on performance and addressing poor performance early
  • nurturing and supporting staff to be leaders
  • providing an environment where staff can push the boundaries and challenge and be challenged
  • providing advice and facilitating career development

Staff
