You should have access to a printer from your desktop computer if you work in any of the following locations:
- Newcastle campus (Callaghan)
- Newcastle City precinct
- Central Coast campus (Ourimbah)
- Sydney CBD
- Waratah PO
Contact your local IT support staff for available printing facilities if you are working in other locations.
How to connect to a printer
If you are printing for the first time you may need to connect the printer. You can either contact the 17triplezero IT Service Desk for help connecting, or use the instructions:
Organisational units are responsible for all costs associated with printing for their staff, research students, conjoints, affiliates and visitors. These may include purchase/lease costs, upgrades, consumables, warranty coverage and repairs undertaken outside the warranty period.
Each Faculty or Division is responsible for basic troubleshooting such as clearing paper jams and supply and installation of printer consumables like paper, toner and maintenance kits.
