eduroam

eduroamThe University of Newcastle is a participating member of the eduroam network.

eduroam allows you to use wireless networks at cooperating universities nationally and internationally. When at a university on the eduroam network you can log in with your University of Newcastle Uni-ID and password.

Access to eduroam is free. There are no account fees, no connection fees and no access fees, and it can be accessed from any of our campuses or locations.

Some areas within the Hunter New England (HNE) Local Health District also have eduroam coverage.
Specifically the libraries (for students and staff), the Clinical Skills Unit at John Hunter Hospital (for staff and researchers), and Centre for Mental Health Studies in the McAuley Building, Mater Hospital (for staff and researchers).

eduroam access is also available at the University of Newcastle Teaching and Research Unit (TRU) at Gosford Hospital.

Conditions of Use

Users of eduroam do so with the acceptance of relevant University of Newcastle policies, and eduroam policies. Visit the eduroam website.

eduroam is only available to users over 18 years of age, or those users that have acquired parental consent to use the 'non-filtered' Internet access.
