Recognising staff achievements
We have great people making some amazing achievements in both the professional, academic and research arenas. Your contribution to making us a world-class institution is recognised and rewarded in many different ways. Recognising and rewarding staff helps with motivation, highlights good behaviour and celebrates our great achievements. Be rewarded with one of our several award programs.
These awards recognise professional staff who have demonstrated excellence and contributed to the overall success of the University.
This award program recognises the significant contribution to research excellence by our early career and mid-career researchers.
These awards recognise the important role that supervisors play in our research achievements and in supporting our talented research higher degree candidates.
The Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Teaching Excellence and Contribution to Student Learning seek to recognise and reward staff (individuals or groups) who make an outstanding contribution to student learning at the University.
We also have Service Recognition Awards for staff who have served either 15 or 25 years at UON. Recipients are presented with a certificate and a small gift at ceremonies, which are usually conducted towards the end of the year.
