Student Progress Sub Committee reviews decisions made by Faculty Progress and Appeals Committees

Student Progress Sub Committee

The President of Academic Senate, as Chair of the Student Progress Sub-Committee, is authorised by Academic Senate to review decisions made by a Faculty Progress and Appeals Committee (FPAC) to suspend or exclude students from a program. The appeals process is outlined in Clause 9.4.1 of the Program Management Procedure Manual - Coursework.

Students may appeal the decision of the FPAC direct to the President of Academic Senate (PAS) and PAS may determine if due process has been followed. If PAS finds that the Faculty has not followed due process, then the matter has to be considered by the SPSC as per the Constitution.
