This course offers a range of topics in Spirituality, including Anglican, Augustinian, Australian, Celtic, Mary MacKillop, and Spirituality of the Heart. These are available on a rotating basis each semester, and year. Students need to select ONE topic only, and should check with the head of Theology or the course coordinator for the availability of that particular topic in a given semester or year. Each course contextualises the particular spiritual approach and investigates its distinguishing features.
| Objectives | Upon completion of this course, students will be expected to: 1. Articulate the history, development and contemporary expression of a particular spirituality. 2. Articulate distinctive features of a specific spirituality. 3. Demonstrate an understanding of how to work both a contextual and a focused perspective. 4. Demonstrate knowledge required for further, and specialised, study in this, or a related area. |
