This course will explore the relationship between theology of creation and ecological conscience. It will describe how the ecological conscience is a result of a spiritual heritage of the theology of creation. Creation and care for environmental awareness are two sides of the same coin.

Objectives Upon completion of this course students will be expected to:
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the theology of creation;
2. Articulate a clear definition of globalization and its various philosophical-religious perceptions;
3. Describe the meaning of Ecology;
4. Explore the contribution of Christian Faith to the Ecology;
Content Themes will include: Creation in OT; Christ universal redemption; philosophy of nature; Christian anthropology; Church's social teachings; Vatican II; spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi; global ecological emergences; Global Church as response to global challenges; Christian spirituality and ecology.
