This course will study in depth the significance of the doctrine on Christ and investigate the primary sources of early Christianity. It will clarify the heritage of earlier Christian Faith in Christ and draw consequences for the contemporary Life of Faith.
| Objectives | Upon completion of this course students will be expected to: 1. Examine the core question whether the authors of the Bible have perceived Christ as God; 2. Discuss the main Christological titles and Christological creeds in the earlier Church; 3. Expose the various contemporary Christological theologies; 4. Re-contextualize the Christology for the third millennium; 5. Demonstrate an understanding of their commitments of Faith in Christ. |
