Designed to allow for advanced level study in areas of recent theoretical and empirical research in the field of speech pathology. Students undertake an individualised learning program (ILP) arranged in consultation with the course co-ordinator.

On successful completion of the course students will be able to:
1. Evaluate current approaches to a specific area of speech-language pathology and relevance for speech pathology practice.
2. Evaluate the extent to which empirical research supports the approach.
