Designed to allow for advanced level study in areas of recent theoretical and empirical research in the field of speech pathology. Students undertake an individualised learning program (ILP) arranged in consultation with the course co-ordinator. This course is an elective within the Bachelor of Speech Pathology.

Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, students will demonstrate the ability to:

1. Evaluate current approaches to a specific area of speech-language pathology and relevance for speech pathology practice.
2. Evaluate the extent to which empirical research supports the approach.
