Software Engineering Masters ProjectPart B

Description

Comprises the second half of a substantial project usually involving a practical investigation and implementation of a software engineering problem. Technical content will be dependent on the project undertaken. Project work is embodied in the delivered software and a project report.

Learning Outcomes

1. To gain experience in project planning, design, coding and testing of software

Content

Students will have been assigned to teams during the first semester of their work on this project, and given project and document requirements.

The projects will have been found outside the school, usually, with Hunter/Sydney industry.

During the semester, project teams will be expected to report their progress to a staff member at regular project meetings.

Multi-term Sequence

This course is part of a multi-term sequence. Both Part A and Part B must be completed to meet the requirements of the sequence. Part A and Part B must be completed in consecutive terms. Students must complete Part A before completing Part B. Students must complete the sequence within a twelve month period. If students complete Part A but are unable to complete Part B within the timeframe, they must re-enrol in Part A.

Requisites

The 'A' component of this Multi-Term Sequence Course must be taken prior to enrolment in the 'B' component.
