Critical Studies in Faith and Culture
This course provides theological studies of the interaction between faith and culture. It develops in students the ability to theologically reflect upon culture, and would be relevant to a wide range of practical fields such as religious service care, religious education, and ministry. It provides the possibility for a student to develop independent in-depth studies in this area..

1. Demonstrate advanced understanding of field of theology of culture.
2. Evaluate the phenomenon of faith and its relationship to the cultures in which it develops and is manifested.
3. Apply theological reasoning to evaluating faith in particular professional and/or ministry contexts.
Themes will be determined according to the domain of theology of culture being studied and the particular focus agreed upon between the student(s) and the expert guiding their progression through the course.
This course replaces the following course(s): THEO6013. Students who have successfully completed THEO6013 are not eligible to enrol in RELT6013.
