This course forms part of an Australian Psychological Society accredited sequence.
PSYC4810, PSYC4830 and PSYC4850 together form a fourth year non honours research project in psychology. The courses entail the conduct, analysis and reporting of a piece of original empirical research. This research is carried out under the supervision of a member of the academic staff of the School of Behavioural Sciences.

PSYC4090A, PSYC4090B, PSYC4120, PSYC4220, PSYC4801A, PSYC4801B, PSYC4802A, PSYC4802B, PSYC6781A, or PSYC6781B.
| Objectives | Knowledge: Students will be expected to gain knowledge of research methodology equivalent to that suitable for a professional psychologist. Skills: Students will further develop their: * psychological research skills including use of appropriate research instruments and data analysis, * scientific writing skills, * capacity to critically evaluate research data, * present information in written format in an interesting and comprehensible manner with appropriate interpretation and evaluation. |
