This course forms part of an Australian Psychological Society accredited sequence.
PSYC4800, PSYC4801A and PSYC4801B together form a fourth year research project in psychology. The courses entail the development and conduct of a piece of original empirical research. This research is carried out under the supervision of a member of the academic staff of the School of Behavioural Sciences.
Students CANNOT take PSYC4801A with ANY of the following courses:
PSYC4090A,PSYC4090B,PSYC4120,PSYC4220, PSYC6781A or PSYC6781B
| Objectives | On successful completion of this course, students will have: 1. psychological research skills including use of appropriate research instruments and data analysis, 2. scientific writing skills, 3. the capacity to critically evaluate research data, 4. the ablity to present information in written format in an interesting and comprehensible manner with appropriate interpretation and evaluation. |
