Clinical sessions provide opportunities for provision of clinical care. This course assumes a total of 120-140 hours of academic effort.
This course is a Compulsory Program Component and students must pass in order to progress into Year 3 of the Bachelor of Oral Health program.

Evaluate the potential impact of oral ill health on systemic health and vice versa; 3. Analyse the need for modification of an individual treatment plan with reference to mucosal and salivary gland pathology; 4. Analyse how oral disease affects oral development, structure and function; In addition, completion of the clinical component of this course will develop and consolidate the following clinical skills: 5. Demonstrate and apply the principles of infection control to the clinical situation; 6. Evaluate OH&S policies and procedures in any clinical situation; 7.
