Consists of self directed learning on international perspectives for occupational and environmental health and safety. In particular it provides an international context for examining the scope of occupational and environmental health and safety. It explores the functions of international organisations, such as ILO and WHO and examines the role of Australia in OH&S development overseas.

ContentTaught through online resources available via Blackboard and self-directed learning. Topics could include: * International perspectives on industrial relations and OHS. * Current OHS and Environmental issues in developed/developing world. * International approaches to OHS legislation. * International OHS and environmental organisations. * An international perspective on aspects of OHS in particular industries * Health issues in developing countries. * The historical development of OHS in the developed world Changes or additions to the topics are made from time to time to reflect topical international developments in OHS. | ||
