This course discusses the principles and operation of equipment used in radiation therapy.
| Objectives | At the completion of this course, radiation therapy students shall be able to: 1. Explain the principles involved in radiation treatment using photons, electrons and beam modifiers 2. Discuss the dosimetry principles and equipment used in Radiation Therapy 3. Explain the principles involved in radiation planning and treatment verification 4. Discuss the dosimetry principles used in treatment verification 5. Explain the different quality assurance tests in RT 6. Describe radiation protection principles in RT |
