This course discusses the principles and operation of equipment used in diagnostic radiography.
| Objectives | At the completion of this course, diagnostic radiography students shall: 1. Discuss the basic concepts associated with Digital Imaging 2. Explain the principles of imaging using Magnetic Resonance Imaging 3. Describe and understand the instrumentation used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging 4. Discuss relevant image quality terminilogy and measurments 5. Describe the equipment used in mammography 6. Discuss the principles of fluoroscopy 7. Explain interventional radiography and the hazards that need special consideration. |
