Develops student's personal capacity for adaptation and contribution to the rapidly changing work environment. Aims to identify and develop forces of change within individuals, to foster action-based reflection and critical thinking, and to enhance personal effectiveness.

Objectives The objectives of this course are to ensure that students can:

1. assess and develop personal and interpersonal skills
2. analyse personal career potential
3. examine their own managerial potential and philosophy
4. identify and create professional opportunities
5. assess personal capacities for coping with change

3. Contemporary career development strategies
4. Strategies for enhancing personal development and management competencies
5. Development of lateral thinking and creativity
6. The impact of corporate politics and power in enterprises
7. Contemporary theories of leadership and followership
8. Case studies of changing leadership styles and organisational practice
9. Enhancing time management for reflective behaviour
10. Managing conflict and consensus
