Focuses on specific marine ecological concepts, recognising the importance, complexity and fragile aspects of the marine environment. Topics include the effects of oceanographic factors on marine organisms, marine sediment ecology, marine habitats, nutrient cycles and human impacts.
Students who have passed MARI2900 may not enrol in MARI2320. Students who have passed MARI2900 can not count MARI2320 towards their degree.
In order to participate in this course, students must complete a compulsory Workplace Health and Safety requirement. Students will receive full information on this compulsory course component in the course outline provided by the school.
