Introduces students to key areas of knowledge in maritime law including commodity contract, transport contract, finance contract, marine insurance and marine claims liability.

Objectives At the completion of this course students should be able to
1. demonstrate an undersanding of the key legal concepts and content of Australian maritime law in the context of international law
2. exercise legal problem skills
3. develop ability to synthesise maritime law with other areas of legal knowledge in the law programme.
