This is an advanced Japanese language course designed to develop students reading and translation skills.
ObjectivesTo enable students to: 1. Read contemporary Japanese literature. 2. Translate contemporary Japanese literature. 3. Understand the social context of the literature. 4. Engage in literary criticism. | ||||
ContentStudents will read a variety of contemporary Japanese literary texts and translate them into English. They will also engage in literary criticism of the texts where appropriate. | ||||
