Students examine contemporary literature relevant to their proposed research topic, focusing on theoretical perspectives and methodological assumptions. Students will undertake a subsequent literature review in order to develop a conceptual understanding of contemporary approaches to their field of information technology research.
| Objectives | In this course students will: 1. engage with prior literature and technical/creative material; 2. articulate the relevance of the thesis or technical/creative project to existing literature and work in the field; 3. demonstrate critical and analytical skills; 4. develop research, project and time management skills, and 5. develop thesis writing and production skills. |
