Introduces the key skills of problem solving and computer programming, including the elementary programming concepts of documentation, data elements, sequence, selection, and iteration. The programming language to be used is one that greatly simplifies the creation of a visual interface.
| Objectives | On completion of this course students will have the ability to: 1. Comprehend the concepts of Object-Oriented and event-driven programming; 2. Comprehend a programming problem and design a solution; 3. Code a solution to a problem; 4. Test and document program solutions. |
