Involves completion of a unit of applied research into some aspect of computer based information systems in collaboration with a client that will generally be an outside organisation. Each student completes a formal report detailing the study objectives, research method employed, results obtained and suggestions.

Enrolment in this course requires Head of School approval and agreement of Course Coordinator.

In order to participate in this course, students must complete a compulsory Workplace Health and Safety requirement. Students will receive full information on this compulsory component in the course outline provided by the school.

Objectives To allow the student to develop their research skills by engaging in a project focused on the use of information systems within a commercial or similar environment.
Content Students undertake an individually designed project and are guided by a supervisor to deliver a report or mini thesis at the completion of this project.
