Not available in 2012
Previously offered in 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006
This course provides learning that builds on that in HUBS2205,HUBS2409 and HUBS2601 and involves integrated learning within and between the disciplines of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Human Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology and Virology. Students will study advanced topics such as recombinant DNA technology, complex modes of inheritance, antibody production in vivo and in vitro and the structure, function and genetics of viruses and microbes. The course is organised as a series of modules which include problem based tutorials, lectures and practical classes.
ObjectivesThe objectives of this course are to provide students with advanced knowledge and understanding of molecular biology, cellular and cancer biology, human genetics, immunology, microbiology and virology. | ||||
