This course has an aim of providing students with an opportunity to develop a course of study in a topic of their own choosing.
ObjectivesFollowing consultation with an appointed supervisor, students will be able to select a specialised topic of interest and conduct an agreed program of study. | |
ContentCandidates will work on an individual basis with a designated supervisor in an area of their own interest. In conjunction with the supervisor, candidates will select a topic area and develop a program of study based upon an analysis and synthesis of the literature or other data sources. The program of reading should address:- ? Rationale for selecting the topic of interest. ? Research question/aim of the reading program. ? Presentation and synthesis of reading findings. ? Conclusions/implications of the information read. | |
