Description

Students who are undertaking this course will generally be nearing the end of the Master in Family Studies program and will experience this course as the 'capstone' culmination of their learning. This course is designed to enable students to undertake an in-depth project consolidating their learning and setting their future professional or academic direction in the field of Family Studies. It is a self-directed course that enables students to choose an area of interest in the field of Family Studies, negotiate and undertake a project that delves deeply into that area of interest and report on the project by writing a report in the genre of the field they will be entering once they complete the program. They will also report to a wider public audience in an appropriate format.

Students in all specialisations complete this course via a UON BB site, and adhere to UON Semester timetables.

All students intending to take this course are requested to contact the Course Coordinator Dr Deborah Hartman prior to commencement of the term to discuss the scope of their project.
