This course is designed for students to develop their fundamental research knowledge through application of critical appraisal, research methodologies and evidence based practice in the health, injury management and safety contexts to assist in determining issues of quality of service, service provision, cost, accountability and validity of interventions.
Students will develop a research study proposal which will include details of a planned research study, study objectives, details of and justification for methodology, data collection, data analysis techniques and how the research will be written up. This research proposal will provide all the information on how to conduct the study.
