Encourages advanced students to focus their studies on a specific aspect of a major project in international business. Students are assigned a supervisor and the topic is selected in consultation with the supervisor and generally reflects the student's research interests.
ObjectivesThe course is designed to develop research and written communication skills while furthering knowledge in a particular aspect of the field. | ||
ContentTopics chosen must meet two criteria: 1. A stated issue in the stated discipline must be clearly identifiable, it may be theoretical or applied 2. The problem must be placed in an appropriate body of knowledge or theoretical framework 3. Students will meet regularly with their supervisor until the completion of the project proposal. They will then work by themselves until the project is ready to be written up. After a final meeting with the supervisor their 10,000 word report will be written up. | ||
