Asian Entrepreneurship

Examines entrepreneurship in an Asian context, developing students' knowledge regarding leadership, behavioral aspects of entrepreneurship, innovation, cross cultural issues and new venture planning and management. This course is also designed to provide opportunities for students to develop and practice important skills regarding entrepreneurship through the delivery of course lectures and workshops.

Objectives On successful completion of the course students should be able to:
1. Discuss the nature of entrepreneurial behaviour, and its role in international business.
2. Identify environment antecedents, which impact upon the entrepreneurial process.
3. Competently describe and address particular issues concerning Asian entrepreneurship.
4. Develop a new venture business proposal and business plan.
5. Undertake case study development and analysis.
