This course will focus on the analysis and critical evaluation of theoretical issues in student's chosen area of study.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of the course students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate an understanding of specific issues and concepts relating to an aspect of their chosen field of study;

2. Articulate detailed knowledge of materials and sources relating to these issues;

3. Perform a critical/analytical task in an area of French Studies at honours level;

Content

This course will involve the analysis and critical evaluation of theoretical issues in the student's area of study. This will be provided through a series of seminars, which may focus on a particular theme or on a range of theoretical issues.

Requisite

This course is only available to students enrolled in Bachelor of Arts (Honours)

Assumed Knowledge

Successfully completed degree with major in French with credit or above.
