EPMANC110 Business Principles introduces students to new business concepts and then links these to the modern business world. Students develop an awareness of the broader theoretical by incorporating both practical and case study analysis in the areas of business management, contract law and financial accounting.
| Objectives | Students will: 1. gain an understanding of the content and processes in Business Principles suitable for the commencement of undergraduate study at The University of Newcastle. 2. become conversant in the terminology and jargon of business principles. 3. understand the role of business in the modern Australian economy. 4. develop skills related to research and academic writing for different purposes and audiences. |
