EPARTS195 Introduction to Performance forms part of a suite of courses designed to prepare students for entry to the Bachelor of Music. The course develops both their technical and interpretive skills as performers and introduces scale studies. A repertoire of various periods of music is examined.

Objectives Students will develop:
1. the technical and interpretive skills to enable a confident entry into the music profession as performers.
2. skills related to research and academic writing for different purposes and audiences.
